Tell about yourself - your personality, lifestyle, etc.
I'm single, never married, no children. A Believer in Christ now for years, I am a dedicated Christian. My personality is fun and outgoing but balanced with a quiet part as well. Honest and a loyal friend. I'm a conservative in most senses but not stuffy and like a stable, peaceful but lively environment. Hard working, warm, quick-witted, bright but not too smart for my own good. Encourager and look for the best in people. I recently re-located BACK to MN where I grew up so am looking to make new friends & acquaintences. I love to travel and different cultures excite me. Love my family. Very concerned about the people in my life. Relationshhips are a priority...I do have career goals however! I'm a ying/yang type woman who is extremely balanced and lively when with the right man. I don't do moody or negative people, or ones that can't relax. Life is too precious to waste it being unhappy. NO drama..and I mean that...again, life is too short!

What kind of person are you interested in meeting?
Easy going man who's focused as well. I love strong men- strong character, strong intellectually, strength in some manner. Jokes!! Jokes are great cuz I love to laugh...(you'll get away with more with me if you can make me laugh!) A guy who can be my best friend, one who I like as well as love, one who has no problem coming together for a united cause. He's not perfect...just perfect for me! :)

What sort of relationship would you like at this point in your life.
Long-term, comitted realtionship that would possible lead to marriage. I'm not going "settle" for less than my soul mate. I've seen others with theirs and have hope to yet be paired with mine! I've had my years of being single with all of the frills and freedoms that come with that. But I know I'm missing that investment in my future with a mate and long to see that happen.

Which is your favorite religious holiday? How do you like to observe/celebrate?
Christmas & Resurrection Day. I don't have any traditions except to be with my extended family for Christmas. We are a loud bunch & full of fun and energy! I don't just love my family...I LIKE them too! I know I'm fortunate for these reasons.

How important a role did Christianity play in your life growing up?
I have always been close to the Lord and we grew up going to Catholic church. Since then I have begun a walk that is celebrated in a non-denominational setting. But Christ Jesus has been the Lord of my life for many years now. I'm not a beginner and look forward to sharing my faith with my significant other. Hopefully he'll challenge me and help me explore my faith all the more.

How important a role does Christianity play in your life now?
My faith has always been the center of my life. I'm finding a church home that i want to be a part of but know the importance of having a REAL relationship with God outside of the church walls as well.. I would love to be active again in the right local church body- I've been VERY active previously.

Elaborate on what you see as your top priorities in life and why.
Relationships- Love is what makes the world, period. It's not what we do it's who we are that counts.

Legacy- to leave behind something that matters to humanity. (Preferably children that have been well cared for & well raised. Not necessarily my own.)

Family- It ties into legacy as well, but is a network that is by design necessary.

Laughter/Joy- it is necessary to have a lot of joy for the journey. It does a heart good like a medicine in every situation. Without it...just shoot me!


Name some of your all-time favorite music / movies / TV / books.
For music...Gospel, jazz, old soul, neo soul, folk, raggae, anything really but metal and old country.

Movies...comedy (I love to laugh out loud!) romance and a good drama. Action is fine as long as there isn't too much blood/violence.

What type of work do you do? Do you enjoy it?
I've been in management for years. I just started managing a group of people. I find I like managing a business better. For years I worked with kids and get great satisfaction out of that too.

What do you enjoy doing for fun?
Enjoy the outdoors, MUSIC (all things music) anything creative really... Sports are OK. If the guy I'm with likes a team I will get into the game and cheer like a pro! Cooking and gardening and entertaining are more my speed. Ill try anything legal or moral once to see if I like it. Dancing in the moonlight on a nice night, walking the dog, playing with my friends kids, theater, or a comedy show. I'm a die hard romantic and very affectionate.

What do you hate doing?
Don't hate anything really. Oh yeah, ARGUING! Don't enjoy playing video games or sci-fi stuff. Can't say I hate much else besides being around a negative or controlling personalities. No time for rigid or mean people who have a bad attitude.

Tell about where you grew up or where you are from.
I grew up as a farmer's daughter in a small town in Minnesota. Folks are still there. I went to the city and found I love ALL things city as well. I feel connected to both the city and the country. Went to college in Minnesota and worked here for 10 years before relocating to Georgia to work for 10 years. I just returned back to Minnesota but know now I could live anywhere.

Do you have pets? Tell about them.
I love dogs...big dogs...and have a big Black Lab :) He's old now and the best dog ever!!

What would you say is your best virtue?
That I love truth and doing what is right. My faith in Christ Jesus has always been the center of my life and it defines my personality as well. My faith is very important to me as would be the faith of someone I'd like to meet.

What was the most daring / wild thing you have ever done?
I'll tell that story later. I'm a good story teller!

If you were on a deserted island, and you could choose 3 items to take, what would they be?
My Bible, my mate (you're not an object sweetie...you just had to make the list!), and a laptop that had a signal! Could I throw in some gourmet chocolate that wouldn't melt in the heat??

How is your physical shape? What do you do to keep in shape?
I am a very curvy lady. "Thick", not thin. Not one to go to the gym right now but would go if my man had a habit. I have never been small but have always been proportionate.

While looking at a person’s profile, following the picture, what are the first things you look for?
I mostly try to read through his words and look for character. Important though : Is he a Believer? Does he smoke? What motivates him?

What else should we know about you?
I'm health conscious- not extreme, but could easily be motivated by an extreme lifestyle in my man. I'm very silly AND very serious. Must be around a guy that is able to handle himself well in various situations...a well rounded soul. He needs to be able to speak his heart to me.
