I am a large bodied man on a journey of losing weight. I have garnered a fair amount of success so far and I am looking forward to being a lot thinner.

I work way too much ( I am a 24/7 on-call computer systems tech ) and unfortunately that leaves me very little time to search for someone. I don't do the bar scene. I do not have a church home where I can date single women. So I have come here to see if there are any possibilities.

I want to meet a woman who can learn to enjoy the things I like and who wants someone to share in her interests as well. A woman that is not afraid to show her affection.

What sort of relationship would you like at this point in your life.
I would like a long term relationship but you have to know that I still need some alone time. I am not looking for a clinging vine. If you do not need intimacy in your life anymore, then I would not be the one for you.

Easter/Resurrection Morning. followed by Christmas. Get together with family and have dinner.

Christianity is very important. You cannot enter the Kingdom of heaven if you do not accept Jesus as your Savior.

I already said I love Southern Gospel, but I also enjoy Classic Rock, Big Band, Classical, a very eclectic mix really.

TV: History Channel, Military Channel, some of the crime shows like Numb3rs, CSI, NCIS, and of course Heroes.

My favorite Movies are: Platoon, Full Metal Jacket, A Few Good Men. I also don't mind watching an occasional "Chic Flick".

Favorite book is The Bible. I do like some Steven King novels too.

What type of work do you do? Do you enjoy it?
Main frame systems technician. I do enjoy it. It's like being a kid again. I get to play with multi million dollar equipment.

What do you enjoy doing for fun?
I enjoy traveling, seeing new places, trying new restaurants, going for spontaneous day trips or overnighters, etc. I also love Southern Gospel music and enjoy attending concerts. I used to sing in a quartet until work got in the way. If you want to know more, just ask.
