i am an intelligent,generally cheerful,extremely honest(not brutally honest,which is usually more brutal than honest)I will NEVER lie to you,so I feel that you should know several things about me(please read the whole profile to get a good overallpicture of me)I have narcolepsy,which is a sleep disorder which makes me overwhelmingly sleepy at unpredictable times.I do not have cataplexy(often confused with narcolepsy).in cataplexy people fall asleep no matter what they're doing,for instance waiting in line at the grocery store,walking down the street,etc.I take medication for it but if the medication isn't working well on a given day or time or if the attack is severe allowances have to be made.Because of this I am permanently disabled and on a fixed income,but i'm still able to do most of what other people can do like go out,buy groceries,have fun,etc.,it,s just that if I start feeling tired it's a good idea if I get somewhere where i can sleep in peace and safety for awhile.All that aside,I can promise that for the right woman who can accept this,I'll NEVER :go out drinking with my buddies,i'm not interested in sports so I won't ignore you for hours and hours watching football or nascar,I'll never forget your birthday or the kinds of things you enjoy,I'll REALLY listen when you speak to me, I'll never mistreat you or be abusive,I'll always be there for you if you need encouragement or help when you're sick or just need a back rub and I'll be the loyal,trustworthy best friend and love that you've always dreamed of. What kind of person are you interested in meeting?
I am looking for a woman who is feminine,sweet,thoughtful,not overly materialistic or driven,more of a homebody than one who wants to run around all the time,someone who is 100% honest with me,who is appreciative of things done for or given to them,someone who can open up their heart and trust,someone who is willing to calmly discuss any problems between us and not yell and carry on, most of all someone who knows what real love is-the kind of love that never gives up and always forgives and never even considers running away when things get hard to be an option because they are commited to the relationship no matter what,because if we are meant to be,that is the level of commitment you will get from me.

What sort of relationship would you like at this point in your life.
I am,obviously from the previous paragraphs,looking for someone to spend the rest of my life with in a loving,caring,totally commited relationship.At this point in my life I don't see that marriage makes people any more serious about their commitment to a relationship than those who live together without being married,however if it is important to my potential mate I am not against it.I am a Christian and believe in everything the Bible says but I am not a get-in-your-face fanatic or anything like that and I believe that the belief and commitment in your heart is more important to God than anything else.

How important a role does Christianity play in your life now?
My faith gives me a solid moral compass through the trials and questions of life while non-Christians constantly debate things that are "controversial"-however,I am not a "blind faith"person or one that follows this or that teacher regardless-I regard the Bible as Gods final word on all issues and check what I'm told by others against it as the final authority.This said,I don't feel superior or holier-than-thou because I know I don't measure up to God's standard(neither do you)and that "it is by grace that we're saved,through faith and that not of ourselves,it is the gift of God,to keep anyone from boasting"(my paraphrase)

Elaborate on what you see as your top priorities in life and why.
Right now I am ,through circumstances not of my own making,at a crossroads of sorts in life and I feel that after so many trials and difficulties I have grown strong enough spiritually and grown up enough emotionally to really be ready to meet the person that God has in mind for me to spend the rest of my life with,and right now finding that one special woman is the main focus of my free time.

I enjoy all kinds of music except gangsta rap,rap in general and hip hop.Some of my favorite groups are:Skinny Puppy,Afro-celt sound system,Black Flag,Kraftwerk,old Black Sabbath and Mozart.My favorite book(s) of all time is Lord of the Rings,followed by Death:The High Cost of Living,Neuromancer and Schismatrix.On tv I enjoy shows like Buffy, Angel,Mythbusters,Cops,True crime like Forensic Files,most of adult swim, etc.My favorite movies are(in no particular order)Predator 1+2,Alien(s),The Hitcher,Hellraiser 1+2,Monty Python and the Holy Grail,The Blues Brothers,Buckaroo Bonzai,all the Kurasawa movies,Excaliber,Zulu and Apocalypse Now(to name a few)

Do you have pets? Tell about them.
My best friend and biggest supporter is my 7 year old female iguana.I had lots of experience with animals,both dogs +cats and the wildlife of n.j. before she came into my life,but very little with reptiles,so Iexpected her to be fairly stupid-but she's brilliant!she is very gentle,,sweet,loving and at leastas smart(I think much,much smarter)than a dog or cat.Iguanas are vegetarians,so not only do I not have to feed her live animals for food but she also lacks the predatory instinct and would never tail whip or bite anyone that wasn't attacking her(I'm sure you'd defend yourself too if you had to).She will often fall asleep on my chest when I'm lying down and has nudged me awake at times because she has to go to the bathroom and can't get in her "house" by herself.(iguanas only go to the bathroom in one place,so she never goes outside of her "house".I could tell you about cute things she's done all day and i'm constantly amazed by her range of emotions and depth of thought.If you meet her you'll love her too!

What would you say is your best virtue?
Honesty-I am very careful to not lie unless telling the absolute truth would cause harm and serve no good purpose,for instance:someone says"isn't my baby cute" and I think the baby looks like a spider monkey-I'm not going to say"looks like a spider monkey to me"but i will probably avoid a direct answer.However,in a relationship I would NEVER lie at all,I would tell the truth about anything but I'd try to be diplomatic with some responses if it was a delicate issue.

If you were on a deserted island, and you could choose 3 items to take, what would they be?
A rifle with ammunition and a good knife(that's 3)With the rifle I could hunt for food and protect myself if anything on the island saw ME as food,I would use the knife to prepare the food,build a shelter,make a fire board and fire bow to make fire with,use it to make the wooden parts of a snare to catch more food,use it to build a bow to hunt with to conserve ammunition,cut my nails and hair with it,use it to make "fuzz sticks" to make firebuilding easier,scrape animal hides with it to get the flesh off so i could prepare the hides to make clothing(if you REALLY want to know I'll tell you what is used to tan a hide if there are no chemicals available)etc.,etc.

Your ultimate intimate dinner party would include which 3 guests (dead or alive)?
Jesus is too obvious.......Chinghiss(or Ghenghis) Khan(he created the largest land empire of all time,from eastern europe to the sea of japan)Miyamoto Musashi(one of if not THE greatest swordsman that ever lived,samurai supreme and author of "The Book of Five Rings" George Washington(Father of the USA-he really WAS,and had he been killed or not been involved in the Revolution it probably would not have occured)
